On Saturday Afternoon North Stafford High School defeated Brooke Point 43 - 35 in the Northwest Regional Championship Game. This is only second time in the schools history that North Stafford was able to win a regional championship. North Stafford's defense and special teams were a big reason for the win. Touchdowns were scored by

Cedrick Watkins, Von Purvis, Anthony Shegog, Brandon Ravenel, Austin Grebe and Kevin Daniels. AJ Slye once again led the way on defense.

North Stafford travels to Hampton on Saturday to face Phoebus High School in the state semi-finals game. Phoebus beat IC Norcom Saturday 24-20 to win the Eastern Regions Title.

Game will be played at Darling Stadium in hampton, va @ 1:30

"WOLVERINES TO PLAY IN REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME"

North Stafford beat George Washington of Danville Friday Night 41-7.
North Stafford's offense had over 400 yards of total offense led by RB Kevin Daniels. Kevin had a career high 31 carries for 227 yards and 3 TDs. Brandon Ravenel had 9 catches for 106 yards and a TD. He also returned a punt 51 yards for a TD. QB Austin Grebe was 9-16 for 106 yards one TD rushing and one passing. The defense was led by AJ Slye, Joey Slye and Kevin Jackson.

The Wolverines host the Northwest Region AAA Division 5 Championship Game Saturday afternoon @ 2:00 PM. They will play cross town rival and fellow district opponent Brooke Point High School.
